Getting started

Taking the guided tour

Explore a fictional care team to see how Kinovo works, or use a page guide to understand the screen you are on. Both let you learn at your own pace.

Who this article is for

Personal users, professionals and Team leaders

Where to find it

  • Open Help from the account menu for Getting started and guidance about the current page.
  • If you have not joined a team, choose Explore an example care team from your home page.

See how the pages fit together

The guided example shows a fictional care team, its tasks, goals, documents and shared information. The guidance matches your personal, professional or Team leader view.

Use Next and Back to follow the explanation. The guide can open the relevant page as you move through it.

The example is read-only

The people and care information in the example are fictional. Exploring it does not send invitations or messages, complete real tasks or change your care teams.

You can look around, but you cannot save changes to the example. Check the example label if you are unsure whether you are viewing your own team.

Move through the guide

  • Next continues to the next explanation.
  • Back returns to an earlier step.
  • Close guide lets you stop the explanation when you have seen enough.
  • Use the return control shown on the example to leave it and go back to your own Kinovo view.

Close the guide or leave the example

When you open Explore an example care team from the home page, Close guide leaves the fictional workspace open so you can keep looking around. Choose Back to my home when you want to leave the example.

Closing guidance does not change any real care-team information. You do not need to finish a tour before using Kinovo.

Come back when you need it

Open Help to see the available learning options. Use Resume or Restart when those options are shown, or open the example again from your home page.

The written Help Centre articles are available whenever you want to look up a specific task.

Get help with the page you are using

Choose the question-mark help button near a page heading, or open Help with this page. This explains the current page without switching you into the fictional example.

A page guide only explains the controls. You still choose whether to save, send or change anything.

Still need help?

Tell us which step you need help with and any error you saw. Leave out passwords, invitation links and private care information that is not needed to explain the problem.
