Kinovo grew from my family's experience coordinating support around my sister, who has cerebral palsy. Too much of the current picture lived in the person who happened to be checking their phone. Her wider team brought genuine care and expertise; the problem was that the shared picture could still sit across messages, emails, documents and different systems.
That shaped a core Kinovo principle: participant-controlled should not mean family-maintained. The participant and family choose the direction and access, while invited people contribute their part.

The participant, family or authorised nominee chooses the direction. Kinovo then lets the right people contribute without giving everyone the same access.

Who controls the workspace?
You do. Or the person you trust to hold the keys. Each workspace has a Team leader—the person trusted to manage access and shared oversight. The participant, family or authorised nominee controls the direction and decides who is invited.
Does the participant need an email or login?
No. A family member or authorised Team leader can create a managed workspace profile for the person receiving support without an email address or Kinovo login. Their own account can be connected later if that becomes appropriate.
Does the family have to enter and maintain everything?
No. Begin with one current priority. Invited team members can add the documents, responses and updates relevant to their part, so the person receiving support or their family does not have to maintain everything.
Can professionals contribute?
Yes. Invited professionals can see role-appropriate information, add relevant documents, respond to assigned requests and update the work they own.
How long is full MVP access free?
For a limited time, with no payment card required. Family access is intended to stay free, while broader professional plans will be introduced later with notice before anything changes.
What should Kinovo not be used for?
Kinovo is not a clinical record, provider operating system, medication-management tool or emergency-monitoring service. Keep formal records in their appropriate systems and use the person's established professional and emergency channels for urgent health or safety matters.
