Supported browsers and mobile use
Kinovo is a responsive web application designed for current mainstream browsers, with browser-specific installation guidance and the same permission checks on desktop and mobile.
Who this article is for
Anyone choosing a browser or using Kinovo across a phone, tablet and computer
Where to find it
- Open the production Kinovo website in a current Chrome, Edge or Safari browser.
- Use Settings → Accessibility for Kinovo’s page-spacing, text-size and reduced-motion preferences.
Recommended browser routes
- Windows: current Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome.
- Android: current Chrome or Edge.
- iPhone and iPad: current Safari, especially when installing Kinovo to the Home Screen.
- Mac: current Safari, Chrome or Edge; Safari provides Add to Dock installation.
- Firefox may open the web application, but Kinovo’s current install workflow does not offer Firefox installation guidance.
What the browser needs
- An active internet connection for signed-in care-team work.
- JavaScript, cookies and secure HTTPS access enabled.
- Permission to load Supabase authentication and Cloudflare Turnstile during account actions.
- Permission to open email links in a normal browser for confirmation, password reset and invitations.
- A current browser version with security updates.
Using Kinovo on mobile
Kinovo uses a compact mobile header and bottom navigation while keeping long forms and detail dialogs vertically scrollable. The same care-team permissions and item visibility apply on every screen size.
For the clearest mobile experience, use portrait orientation for everyday work and rotate only when a wide document preview genuinely benefits from it.
Browser tab and installed web app
The installed Kinovo web app and the browser website use the same account, data and security controls. Installation adds convenient app-style access; it does not create a separate native account or offline copy of the care team.
Browser profiles keep their own sessions. If several people share a device, each person should use their own protected device profile and sign out rather than sharing one Kinovo login.
If a page is not behaving correctly
- Reload once and confirm the connection is stable.
- Update the browser and operating system.
- Try the same page in a current recommended browser.
- Check whether an extension, content blocker, VPN or organisation network is blocking authentication or required scripts.
- If an installed app appears stale, close and reopen it; if the issue continues, open Kinovo in the browser and report the device, operating system and browser version.
- Do not clear site data as a first step if you have unsaved form work; reloading or changing browser may discard it.
Still need help?
Tell Kinovo support what you were trying to do, which page you were on and what happened. Do not include sensitive care information unless support specifically asks for it through an approved channel.
